Bishop Robert W. Harris and his lovely wife Pastor Novella Harris have been married for over 40 years. What a blessed example they set for the Grace Family. It is by the example of living that they present and the teachings that they bring forth that we are surely being planted in fertile ground and able to grow to the Glory of God!

Bishop Robert W. Harris is our Leader and Spiritual Father. He is a powerful and anointed man of God. Bishop Harris Founded and has been Pastoring at Grace since April 1983. He was consecrated to the Office of Bishop in December 1990. Bishop Harris is a member of numerous boards and community organizations: Nassau County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, Nassau Council of Black Clergy, Conference of Clergy, 100 Black Men of Nassau/Suffolk and the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE). Bishop Harris has ministered 2 tours to India, Madras & Ooty; 3 Crusades to Ghana, West Africa; 1 Crusade to Johannesburg, South Africa and with a planned trip to Kenya in April 2002. Bishop Harris has taken 5 Pilgrimages to Israel, Egypt and Jordan. Bishop Harris and the Crusade Team has also traveled to the Philippians in 2005 and Uganda in 2006 and has made a difference in the lives of many. Has brought many out of jail and into the pews; delivered many from drugs and alcohol. This is just the beginning....or as Bishop would say..."The half is yet to be seen".

 



Pastor Novella Harris 
 

Pastor Novella Harris, is our Pastor and Spiritual Mother. We love her very much. She is a great woman of God. God has given her a personal ministry to wounded, abused souls. It is her desire to serve God with all her heart, soul and mind and to be the example of womanhood that God is calling for in these last and evil days. Pastor Harris is a member of the Nassau County Ministers Wives and Ministers Widows, 100 Black Women of Long Island and the N.A.A.C.P., and sits on the Literacy Standard Committee in Malverne, New York. Pastor Harris currently holds two Masters Degrees and a Bachelors in Theology, Pastor Harris been trained in assertive discipline and the Adlerian approach to parent/child counseling. She through her vision, formed the Levite Praise & Worship as well as the Praise in Movement Ministries.
