AUDIO-VISUAL MINISTRY: 

The A/V ministries purpose is to help spread the Gospel through various forms of available media. Church worship services and special events are recorded onto DVD and audio CDs, are available
on VHS or audio tape. and are available for purchase at a nominal fee. 
This ministry consists of many components, which include: Sound engineering,
videotaping, video editing, DVD and hard disk recording, marketing and
advertisement among many others.

BROTHERS FOR CHRIST: 

The BFC auxiliary consists of brothers who regularly worship at Grace. 
We meet once a month to discuss issues that are relevant. 
All brothers of the church are members and are encouraged to take an active role.


CHURCH CHOIRS:

The purpose of all of our choirs is to worship and praise God in song. 
Through songs and music we usher in God's presence. 
We have four choirs: Agape (must be 3 years old but not older than 11), Youth For Christ (ages 11-19), Voices of Judah (ages 20 and up), and the Sanctuary Choir (for adults ages 20 and up)

CARING MINISTRY: 

This ministry represents three areas:

1. Hospital Ministry - Members are trained by the hospital and after completion of training are given a    hospital photo identification enabling them to administer to patients. 

2. Home Visitation - Once a month a team of Parishioners visits with the sick, elderly and /or housebound.

3.  Grief Healing Group - This group is for the bereaved.  We meet as the needs arise. 
Grief is a journey and requires work; we help each other to get through this journey.

DANCE MINISTRY:

Grace Cathedral Dance Ministry is comprised of a group of believers who glorify God in the dance. 
Our goal is to touch the lives of others through dance by the empowerment of the anointing of God. 
We believe souls can be delivered, souls renewed, and hearts restored experiencing the gift that God has given unto us. We have seven dance ministries that begin from age three and up.

DEACON BOARD: 

The members of the Grace Cathedral Deacon's Board are a select body of brothers and sisters called to a life of joy in service in the House of the Lord.The Holy Bible is our source of authority on the Christian life and the work of a deacon. Through Christ, we are chosen and appointed to serve with our Bishop and Pastor in the ministries of the church and to serve members in need.

DEBUTANTE MINISTRY:

The debutante-mentoring ministry was created to empower young women by exposing them to a variety of subject matters that will promote physical, social, cultural, intellectual and emotional growth. 
This ministry occurs over three years and fosters a sense of pride and sisterhood among the debutantes.  The graduates of the mentoring ministry participate in a Cotillion.



DORCAS: 

The name; means found of good works and alms deeds. The life of Dorcas, her given name was Tabitha, found in Acts 9:36 is an inspiration for this kind of effort. Her works for the Lord was for the poor, sick and needy, and she blessed people with her kindness, compassion and love.  We are a committee that follows in the footsteps of Tabitha and we care for the poor, sick and needy.

FOREIGN MISSIONS: 

Grace Cathedral foreign missions is committed to serve, support, preach, teach and promulgate the word of God on the foreign field. All foreign mission trips are taken at the discretion of Bishop Harris; they
are not limited to committee members. Foreign Missions crusades have taken Bishop Harris and crusade teams to Jamaica, West Indies, Madras & Ooty India, Israel (several times) Cuba,
Ghana, Africa (several times), and the Philippines.

G.A.N.G.:

G.A.N.G. stands for God's Anointed New Generation. The concept of this (GANG) does not carry the sense of groups of people hanging around or gathering for unworthy causes The gang ministry meets every second Sunday after the 11:30AM Worship to discuss issues that are relevant
to the youth of today.  We also meet every Friday at 7:30PM to pray together. Every fourth Friday we sponsor aYouth Worship service which the youth are completely in charge of. Periodically we get together for outings and field trips such as bowling, skating and once a year we go on a Youth
Retreat.

GRACE ABOUNDING NEWS:

This is Grace Cathedral's official publication. Our objective is to keep the church congregation informed as to what is going on in the church. We stress to print helpful articles that can assist us not only in our spiritual life but also in matters that are a concern to us as we deal with the vicissitudes of life.


GRACE PERFORMING ARTS GUILD:

This guild is a collaborated effort with various performing arts groups within Grace Cathedral to form a cohesive unit. It is made up of officials from the Drama ministry, The Poetry Club, The Dance teams,
The Mime-ministry, The Step Team, Audio/Visual, and the Musicians.


HOSPITAL MINISTRY: 

The hospital ministry is commissioned by Jesus Christ in His admonition to visit the sick and shut in.  We perceive our mission as comforting those that are hospitalized and also offering prayers for their
quick recovery.

MARRIED COUPLES MINISTRY: 

This ministry is to encourage married couples to work and pray together to foster a stronger relationship. We schedule several events during the year to build better relationships for married
couples and hold monthly meetings to strengthen these bonds.


MISSIONARY COMMITTEE:

We recognize God's commandment to go out into the entire world and spread the Word. Although all missionaries cannot go out to the foreign field, we can all be missionaries wherever we are. 
We conduct Missionary Worship weekly because we believe in the importance of this commission.

MOTHER BOARD: 

The Mother board is a strong, vital part of Grace Cathedral ministry and we are to be trust-worthy in serving under the leadership of Bishop and Pastor. We are the eyes and ears in many areas for we are
appointed by Bishop and Pastor to uphold the vision of the church and it's teaching.
